In Gety, militia units have recently entered the town on two occasions, looting some houses, and forcing the MSF team to suspend visits and support to health centers outside the town. A reduced team is still working at Gety’s hospital. The safety of the medical and support team is of paramount concern, but of course the real victims are the local citizens whose access to medical treatment has been reduced.
